Daniela Weber-Rey

Daniela Weber-Rey, LL.M. (Columbia University), is a renowned expert on legal and governance issues with over 35 years of experience in the areas of corporate governance, financial regulation, and international mergers and acquisitions. After a long career at Clifford Chance and in the global role of Chief Governance Officer at Deutsche Bank, she currently holds numerous supervisory board and advisory positions, including at FNAC Darty (Paris), the German Literature Archive in Marbach, and the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE (Frankfurt). As the first female member of the Government Commission on the German Corporate Governance Code and a recognized expert on AI in corporate management as well as on climate transition, she regularly lectures at leading universities. She is a recipient of the Légion d’Honneur and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (France).
