The Hanover Fair is considered the world’s most important industrial trade fair and central platform for technologies related to industrial transformation. Under the guiding theme “AI in Industry”, the 2026 trade fair will show how artificial intelligence optimizes production processes, increases efficiency and enables new forms of value creation – from autonomous robots to generative AI. With thousands of exhibitors, international visitors and a high density of decision-makers, it is a central meeting place for innovation, exchange and business development.
Also the Scheer School of Digital Sciences at Saarland University will be represented at the Hannover Messe from April 20 to 24, 2026. The focus will be on exchanging ideas with companies from industry and discussing the current challenges of digital transformation – particularly in the context of industrial AI, smart manufacturing and data-driven business models.
The topics of the trade fair are thus directly linked to the profile of the Scheer School, which combines scientific expertise with practical training and offers programs in the areas of digital transformation, artificial intelligence and future-oriented skills development.
