The About Us Festival is a business, education, and lifestyle festival that brings together people who are interested in personal and professional development, new forms of leadership, and future skills. On March 20 and 21, 2026, the festival will take place at Sektor Heimat in Saarbrücken. Over the course of two days, visitors can look forward to inspiring talks, practical insights, and numerous opportunities to exchange ideas within a strong and vibrant community.

The Scheer School of Digital Sciences at Saarland University will be present on Professional Growth Friday (March 20) – the festival’s dedicated day for continuing education, with a strong focus on professional development, leadership, and future skills.

With Dr. Christine Eckert, Manager Content & Learning Methodology at the Scheer School, we will also be represented in the program with a talk. In her session “Female Leadership as a Success Factor in Digital Transformation – Your Personal Transformation Journey Meets Digital Strategy,” she explains why digital transformation is not driven by technology alone, but is fundamentally shaped by the human factor.
In her talk, our speaker connects personal development with digital strategy and shows how self-reflection, empathy, and a growth mindset can become powerful leadership qualities. On the Leadership Stage, she will take the audience on a journey – from the question “How do I lead myself?” to “How can I shape transformation effectively?” Because digital transformation is not achieved through tools alone. It is driven above all by people who are willing to grow.
