Prof. Dr. Verena Wolf is Professor of Computer Science at Saarland University and Scientific Director at DFKI in Saarbrücken. Her research group for neuro-mechanistic modeling combines mechanistic modeling with modern AI methods to better understand complex systems and develop innovative solutions. The fields of application range from AI-supported decision-making in production systems to drug development and intelligent learning systems. In addition, Verena Wolf is passionate about AI education and makes artificial intelligence understandable and accessible to a wide audience through lectures, teaching and public discussions.
