Prof. Dr. Fabian Hollstein is Professor of Quantitative Methods at Saarland University. His research focuses on the empirical analysis of pricing processes on financial markets. He uses modern data analysis methods such as machine learning. He received a sponsorship award from the Viktor Rizkallah Foundation for his dissertation. Several of his research projects have been and continue to be funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). WirtschaftsWoche regularly ranks him as one of the most research-intensive business economists in the German-speaking world. He heads a research group at Saarland University and teaches students practical quantitative methods and empirical capital market analysis in research and teaching.
