Timo P. Gros is a computer scientist and AI researcher at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Saarbrücken. He combines strong communication skills with profound technical research expertise and a clear focus on artificial intelligence and innovation. His particular concern is to translate scientific findings into practical and effective applications. Since January 2025, he has been head of the “Neuro-Explicit Sequential Decision-Making” team in the Neuro-Mechanistic Modeling research department. He also works as a research area manager and deputy research area manager and is responsible for research coordination, team leadership and strategic development, among other things.
